Rock Point Real Estate is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Community Manager for a 192-unit apartment community in Decatur, AL.
As a direct report to the Regional Manager, this role is vital in executing management policies, stewarding physical assets, and serving our residents to enhance property value for the owners.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and hold the team accountable for their daily and weekly responsibilities
- Rent collections and deposits
- Eviction filings and resulting court appearances
- Lease packet management and audits
- Unit inspections
- Lease violations and other resident correspondence
- Processing of purchase orders and invoices
- Scheduling of unit turns and updates to make ready board
- Maximizing NOI through rent growth and expense control
- Weekly and monthly reporting kept up to date
- Performance of all tasks in alignment with company standards
Qualifications and Characteristics

- Proven experience in property management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills. Be able to manage staff and take responsibility for their performance.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.
- Have a desire to serve the residents and the property owners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Experience with AppFolio and LITCH is a plus
Pay: Estimated $50,000- $55,000 a year. (Hourly rate and commissions included)
